You might think that if you have a small medical problem, you should go to the doctor. With common sense health tips you will find that there is a host of solution to life's little health problems that you can find around the house!

We've all experienced the common cold and many will say there is no cure. However zinc lozenges have shown you can shorten the life of a cold. However, if you've just got a small problem, you may find that using common sense health tips may be of merit to solving the issue on your own. There are some common problems that cause back pain that you may not realize. For example, wearing high-heeled shoes can cause an arching of the back that can cause back pain. A small amount of non-strenuous exercise can help to get your back's muscles back to working order. Try swimming with a low intensity to help ease your back pain. Putting ice on inflamed back muscles may also ease the tension, as well as ensuring that the mattress that you are sleeping on isn't causing unnecessary stiffness. Use that common sense to find the cause and you can save a lot of pain and it's not as painful as the doctor's bill.

Look at the big business in the weight loss industry these days. Everywhere you go you will find someone selling magic pills or the next greatest exercise machine. Common sense has to tell you that there are no magic bullets, if you want a common sense healthy weight loss plan it will take some will power and time.
